Who we are

Local Guys provides windscreen repairs, windscreen replacement and window tinting from our workshop at Unit 5/4 Waterview St, Warana QLD 4575. You can reach us on 07 5438 8777 or at info@localguys.com.au. This website is https://www.localguys.com.au.

Quote requests

If you ask for a quote, we collect what you type into the form. That can include your name, email address, phone number, company, vehicle details and a description of the work. The message is emailed to info@localguys.com.au so we can reply. We keep those emails for as long as we need them to handle the enquiry and our records.

This site does not publish comments, and we do not collect comments.

Website visits

We record which pages are viewed, the time of the visit, and roughly how long it lasted. A cookie groups the pages of one visit. That record does not include your IP address. When the visit happens, the IP address and whether it looks human or automated is sent to a private monitoring room for the people who run this site. A sign-in lockout or a form blocked for too many submissions is reported there too, including the network address.

Cookies and other services

The statistics use a visitor cookie that lasts about 13 months and a session cookie that lasts about 30 minutes. Quote, login and password forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie to tell people and bots apart. The map on the site is loaded from Google, and Google may receive your IP address when that map loads. Staff who sign in get a WordPress login cookie.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the quote details we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete them, by emailing info@localguys.com.au or calling 07 5438 8777. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au.
